Updated this week:  Current Band photos & Live Gigs
Don’t forget the John Emmet memorial CD see below:
I have moved some of the older gig photos onto subsidiary pages that can be accessed via a popup menu from the menu button for photo archives or the hyperlinks on the archive page, this should speed up the loading time of the current band photos.  I have also moved Venues and jams to their own pages found from a popup menu on the Live gigs & venues button.

Thanks to Simon for providing the following photos of Jon and the flowers at the funeral
Death of Jon Emmet and  funeral
Jon was a regular attendee at    gigs in the area, predominantly blues ones so many of you will know him by sight if not by name. Unfortunately Jon passed away on Sunday 5th August 2007 after suffering heart failure on his way home from a family reunion.
The funeral was held at Amersham Crematorium on Friday 17th August, whilst I was unable to attend the funeral Clive went as did a good number of local musicians and friends and some not so local ones.  Delta Echoes played two songs at the service which by all accounts was exactly what Jon would have liked.
The gig at the Nags Head in the evening by Leroy, Sparky and Knobby was dedicated to Jon and was also attended by many of the people from the funeral saying a final goodbye to Jon in a way he would have loved.
RIP Jon

NEW PUB/RESTAURANT
The Sausage Tree in Saffron Road, High Wycombe has now opened,  we went there on the 21st July to check it out, it is a speciality pub & restaurant  which features Englands Largest Selection Of Gourmet Sausages, Speciality Pies, Fresh Fish Daily, Bar Menu, Specials Board, Private Functions, Large Selection Of Old And New World Wines By The Glass And Bottle, Imported Beers, Real Ales (bottled), Gourmet Coffee, Large Open Patio Area For Smokers, Special Evenings.  http://www.sausagetreepub.co.uk
We tried the food and can say that we will definitely eat there again all of the 50 types of sausage are served with your choice of flavoured mash, Heinz baked beans and onion gravy.
If sausages are not your thing the Black Rock grill looks interesting and I will be trying that next time or there are pies too.
We were interested to see what imported beers were on offer, due to space and supply issues the range of Belgian beers which are our particular favourite is not that extensive and the prices are a little on the high side.
Unfortunately the planned real ales on hand pump hit a problem when they tried installing the lines so at the moment the only real ales they have are bottled.
NAGS HEAD RETURNED!
The turnout for the New Nags Head first gig with Unchained was very good let’s hope it can be continued to make the Nags Head the venue that it once was.
If you are a band wanting a gig at the Nags Head please call Tom on 07738 622526
